Join us for a nourishing week of yoga, breathwork and deep relaxation in the peaceful hills of Taghazout, Morocco.
Our retreat home is situated in a traditional Berber village nestled in the foothills of the Atlas mountains - just 15 minutes by car from the surf town of Taghazout.
Every detail of this retreat has been designed to be the perfect antidote to the dark and cold of the English Winter.
We have curated a program of movement and mindfulness to help you heal, transform and emerge from your Winter shell… You’ll return feeling empowered, recharged and ready for a joyful Spring.
During the week, Jess will guide you through a wide range of modalities and techniques including yoga, conscious connected breathwork, moving meditation, seated meditation, sharing circles and journalling.
Each mealtime we’ll join together to share nourishing vegetarian food, prepared using the very best locally grown ingredients.
Amongst the carefully planned activities, guests will have plenty of time away from the shala to immerse themselves in the vibrant local culture or to simply gaze at the Moroccan mountains from our private rooftop pool.
Our Schedule

8am Sunrise Yoga & Meditation with Jess
11am Brunch on the Sun Terrace
11:30am Free time to Laze by the Pool, explore the local market town, Catch the surf, Horse Ride, have a local Hammam.
3pm Snacks & Smoothies
3pm Free time (see above)
6pm Sunset Restorative Yoga & Massage or Breathwork
7:30pm Sunset Dinner on the Terrace
9pm Hanging out on the terrace or making the slow amble towards your comfy bed.
On one of the days we will be organising a trip to Paradise Valley, an oasis in the middle of breathtaking mountains for those that would like to join. This and all extra activities can be paid for in cash when you arrive on the retreat.
Everything is optional, you can be as active or as horizontal as you need to be.

Single bed in a twin room with ensuite bathroom – £795 per person
Single bed in a triple room with ensuite bathroom - £795 per person
Single bed in a 6 bed sharing room with shared bathroom - £745 per person
Master double room with ensuite bathroom - £995 per person or £1,695 for sole occupancy.
Double with shared bathroom - £895pp or £1,395 for sole occupancy
Please note there is a non-refundable £195 deposit required to secure your booking, which is non-refundable.

Our Retreat Home
Tamazirt is a stunning villa nestled in the hills of Agouni. This rural Berber village is set in the foothills of the anti Atlas mountains, just minutes away from the coastal villages of Taghazout & Tamraght.
Close enough to the beaches and excitement of Taghazout, yet far enough away to really get close to nature.
The only passing traffic is the occasional herd of goats.

Your Hosts
Jess Symondson
Jess is a yoga instructor, breathwork facilitator and trained dancer, with a passion for injecting energy, music and lighthearted fun into traditional wellness practices. She has been a professional wellness practitioner for over 5 years, running regular weekly classes in Buckinghamshire and gracing the stages of summer festivals like Wilderness and Love Trails, with her unique fusion of vinyasa yoga set to high energy contemporary music, which she calls “Rogue Yoga”.
Jess fundamentally believes that the healing benefits of yoga and breathwork are for everyone… During our week’s retreat we will progress towards more advanced movements and more focussed meditations - however, we want guest to feel empowered to take a child’s pose and just enjoy the music at any time.

Greg Symondson
Co-host Greg will be working with the local kitchen team to ensure every meal, snack and drink is packed full of flavour and nourishment to carry you through this transformative week.
You’ll find Greg setting up the shala each morning, building the communal fire each night, and leading expeditions to local attractions and the surf breaks of Taghazout.
For those of you wanting some extra exercise during the week, Greg will be leading a daily workout in the form of HIIT (high intensity interval training), animal flow or “moving meditation” runs. These “opt in” sessions will be short and sharp, with the emphasis on having fun!
